We’re excited to share that the Pond Village Pub was recently highlighted in the Happy Vermont newsletter, published on November 13, 2025 and written by Erica Houskeeper. The feature introduces readers to the renewed energy in Brookfield’s Pond Village and puts a welcome spotlight on the pub’s cozy atmosphere, small footprint, and ingredient-driven menu.
In the article “Historic Inn Reopens in Brookfield,” Erica describes the pub as a gathering place built on simple pleasures and genuine hospitality. She writes that dining at the Pond Village Pub feels
“like dining among friends, with good conversation in a relaxed, cozy setting.”
That’s exactly the experience we hoped to create. With only a handful of tables and a menu built around local ingredients — from our Sprague Ranch Pub Burger to the buffalo and cheddar dip, fresh salads, bread with local honey, and a black bean burger that guests keep coming back for, everything is intentionally small-scale and personal. It’s the kind of place where you settle in, talk to your neighbors, and enjoy a meal without rushing through it.
The article also highlights our seasonal hours:
- Fridays: 5–9 PM
- Saturdays: 5–9 PM
- Sundays: 3–7 PM
Whether you’re a local looking for a comfortable spot to unwind or planning a weekend getaway in Vermont, we’re grateful to have the Pond Village Pub recognized as one of the places worth seeking out.
A warm thank-you to Erica Houskeeper and Happy Vermont for sharing our story and helping shine a light on the pub, the people behind it, and the community that makes this village special.
