The Porch
Our front porch overlooks Sunset Lake and Pond Village and is perfect for relaxed music evenings, cocktail hours, and informal gatherings with friends.
Pond Village Pub
Located just downstairs, the pub provides a lively setting for group dinners, celebrations, and private gatherings featuring seasonal Vermont-inspired cuisine.
The Lawn & Garden
During warmer months, the lawn offers space for yoga sessions, lawn games, small concerts, or casual outdoor receptions.
Guest Rooms
Groups often reserve several or all of the Inn’s guest rooms, creating a cozy “house party” atmosphere where guests enjoy the entire property together.

Brookfield Old Town Hall
Just across Sunset Lake, the historic Brookfield Old Town Hall is a beautiful setting for concerts, community gatherings, and larger celebrations. We are pleased to partner with the Old Town Hall to help coordinate guest lodging, event planning support, and catering or bar service through Pond Village Pub when appropriate.
This allows couples and groups to enjoy a larger event space while still having the comfort and hospitality of Green Trails Inn nearby.
First Congregational Church
For couples planning a traditional ceremony, the First Congregational Church offers a lovely historic setting within the village. We are happy to help coordinate wedding weekends that include ceremonies at the church followed by receptions or gatherings at the Inn, Old Town Hall, or other nearby spaces.
Outdoor Celebrations
Brookfield’s rural landscape also lends itself beautifully to outdoor gatherings. We are happy to help coordinate hospitality for:
